cell.txt is a browser-based work that uses broken HTML and CSS. The page generates hundreds of <div> elements styled with position: fixed to form a grid of black squares.
The HTML is intentionally manipulated: invalid syntax -> structural corruption cause the browser's parser to fail. The browser stops rendering layout and begins displaying raw HTML as plain text.
The page uses automatic redirection to lead users through progressively more corrupted versions. With each reload, the DOM breaks down further.
